Description

Dirty Seven offers a straightforward yet engaging card game for two players, centered on emptying your hand before your opponent does. To start, each player receives seven cards, keeping them hidden from the other. A single card from the deck is placed face up to form the foundation of the discard pile, while the remaining cards become the draw pile, set aside for later use. Turns alternate between players, with the goal of shedding cards efficiently. On your turn, you may play one or more cards from your hand onto the discard pile, but only if each one aligns with the suit or rank of the exposed top card. For instance, if the visible card is the seven of hearts, you could add any seven from another suit or any heart of a different rank. This flexibility allows for strategic plays, building sequences or suits to clear multiple cards at once. Should you lack a suitable card to play, draw one from the draw pile and add it to your hand. Your turn then ends without a discard, passing the opportunity to your opponent. As the game progresses, the discard pile grows, offering varied options for matches and pressuring both players to adapt quickly. The draw pile replenishes opportunities but also risks bloating your hand if luck doesn't favor you. The first player to release all cards from their hand claims victory, leaving the other to hold onto whatever remains. This simple mechanic encourages careful observation of the discard pile and opportunistic timing, making every round a test of patience and foresight. With standard deck rules, Dirty Seven delivers quick sessions ideal for casual duels, often lasting just minutes yet packed with tension.
