Description

Happy Wheels launches at a critical moment, right as the dreaded shutdown of Flash looms on the horizon. That transition was tense, and we're sorry for any disruption it caused. We hope the uncertainty didn't disrupt your rest. For those who hadn't heard, this marks exciting progress: the initial public rollout of our updated edition. As it's fresh out of development, give us a bit more time to iron out any remaining glitches. Though I hold a soft spot for the Flash era, this iteration shines on mobile platforms with smooth performance. Note that on-screen touch controls aren't ready yet—they'll arrive in the upcoming update. In the interim, if you're eager to play on your device, pairing a Bluetooth keyboard offers a solid workaround. We aimed for a consistent 60 frames per second across the board, but tougher levels may run at a reduced pace on certain hardware. The option exists in settings already, and for users with high-end processors, I'm considering a dedicated 60 Hz build on its own page. Overall, Happy Wheels JS mirrors the classic version closely, preserving the core mechanics, visuals, and interactive elements. The full archive of player accounts, custom tracks, and recorded sessions remains intact from the original launch. The sole casualty? That sense of cosmic catastrophe tied to Flash's demise. Now, the adventure continues seamlessly into the future.
